This Thanksgiving, help United Way Broward’s MISSION UNITED ensure local Veterans and their families have everything they need to enjoy a holiday meal together.
Through Operation Turkey Dinner, we are collecting more than 500 Thanksgiving meals for Veterans and their families across Broward County. There are three ways to get involved, making it easy to give in the way that works best for you.
Three Ways to Give
1. Sponsor a Thanksgiving Meal
Donate $75 to provide a complete Thanksgiving meal for a family of four.
2. Fill a Thanksgiving Meal Box
Pick up a box from United Way Broward, fill it with the requested Thanksgiving meal items, and return it to:

Boxes are available for pickup now. Filled boxes must be delivered between November 11 - 14.
3. Shop Our Amazon Wish List
Purchase requested food items directly through Amazon to help us reach our goal of providing more than 500 Thanksgiving meals.
Supplies Needed Per Box
Each completed meal box should include:
(2) 6 oz. boxes of instant stuffing mix, Stove Top style
(2) 15 oz. cans of whole kernel corn
(2) 12 oz. jars of turkey gravy
(1) 13 oz. box of instant mashed potatoes
(1) large foil roasting pan
(1) can of black beans
(1) box of mac & cheese
(1) bag of rice
(1) 14 oz. can of jellied cranberry sauce
(1) package of cornbread mix
(1) graham cracker pie crust
(1) package of cinnamon
(1) 15 oz. can of pumpkin puree
(1) 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk
(2) cans of yams
(1) 16 oz. bag of marshmallows, not mini
(1) 25' roll of aluminum foil
(1) $30 grocery store gift card
